Dutch duo The Lasses, consisting of Sophie Janna and Margot Merah, perform traditional Irish and Scottish folk music with beautiful vocal harmonies. The two met in 2011 at an Irish session in Amsterdam - a fruitful encounter, because one year later they recorded their first album together, followed by the albums Daughters (2015), Undone (2019) and Near Far (2023).

Accompanying themselves on guitar, tenor ukulele, shrutibox and bodhrán, The Lasses have toured the world, from Scotland to America to Japan. With their natural vocals, their captivating repertoire and strong harmonies at the center stage, The Lasses are seen as one of Europe's finest folk duos.
