Alma Landa

Alma Landa is the genre-blurring duo of Dutch-English folk artist Gitta de Ridder and multi-instrumentalist Lars Posthumus. Rooted in folktronica and branching into the textures of pop, jazz, and folk, their music weaves together intimate, honest vocals with nylon-string guitar, rich basslines, dreamy synths, and looped layers of sound.

At its core, Alma Landa is a conversation—between acoustic tradition and electronic innovation, between storytelling and sonic exploration. With Gitta’s emotive songwriting and voice at the heart, and Lars’s multi-instrumental finesse and production sensibility, the band creates immersive soundscapes that feel both deeply personal and sonically adventurous.

In 2023, Alma Landa released their debut single Thunderbrain—a bold first step into their musical universe. Their debut EP, Botanicals, is set for release in autumn 2025.
